Brown Butter Blondies

Brown Butter Blondies

The key to a good blondie is to start with a tasty base, and browning the butter really elevates these. Then, of course, come the mix-ins. Adding unsalted toasted nuts is always a good choice, but you could also add chunks of dark or white chocolate, or dried fruit or citrus zest, or swirl some jam on the top before baking. I prefer these on the ooey-gooey side versus crisp, but they are good either way.
