Peach Cuppa Cuppa Stikka Buckle
This easiest of cake batters (which gets its name from the simple measurements of a cup of flour, a cup of sugar, and a stick of butter) is poured into a pan and layered with ripe fruit that sinks into the cake when baked. I like it best with peaches and a handful of blueberries or blackberries, but you can make it with a combination of other fruits. Use ripe, juicy peaches—there’s no need to peel them.
