Pumpkin Slab Pie

Pumpkin Slab Pie

I don’t go pumpkin-spice crazy in the fall, but I do love a good slice of pumpkin pie now and then. I think pumpkin pie works particularly well in slab form because it’s easier to slice and serve for a crowd. If the pastry-garnish pieces are too twee for you, just cut the excess pastry into strips, sprinkle them with a little cinnamon and sugar, and you’ll have a great snack while you’re waiting for the pie to cool.
